DUPLE X ANA: This is a 2/3 + 1/3 duplex project, the two units in this design are not symmetrical, one is slightly bigger than the other, ANA being the smaller of the two.

FL House-isometric view. A small home for the city of Toluca, Mexico. This project is interesting because the program required a dedicated room for the owner’s hobby: remote controlled airplanes, which make plenty of noise when testing engines and fabricating, the solution was to place the hobby room in front of the garage away from the bedrooms (only 2).

Detail blueprints, “The Reach Building” .

A venue for the study and preservation of Native American Cultures throughout the continent named “The Reach Building” .

A detail blueprint for Study House 003.

For the “Study House 003” I used the architecture of Latin America from the 60’s and 70’s as inspiration, there are plenty of amazing examples from Brutalist to Modern. This home however, is designed to take advantage of the weather, context and environment as opposed to just the site which was the norm in the 70’s. Hopefully there will be room to improve in this series of study houses we’re doing.

Proposed mixed use building with a four star hotel, offices and retail space (stores located in the twisting volumes). Parametric design used for testing some ideas on urban density and business centers.
Sketch of my first idea to create a vertical farm for an urban setting for readily available produce inspired after reading through the vertical farm project literature.
The design consists of 9 floors divided in two sections for different irrigation needs and a grass/turf nursery on the bottom floor. The broad side of the building is dedicated to garden herbs and flowers. Wire mesh and solar panels are proposed on the upper lever as well as vertical wind turbines within the structure.
